About us
HEINZMANN is a globally active family business founded in 1897 with its headquarters in Schönau (D), in the Black Forest.
Today, in the field of engine management HEINZMANN is one of the leading suppliers of components and systems for industrial combustion engines, generators and turbines. As a specialist and development partner, HEINZMANN is committed to developing exactly the right solution for increasing efficiency and reducing emissions.
The product portfolio of HEINZMANN's division Engine & Turbine Management comprises complete common rail systems, electronic fuel injection systems, mechanical and electronic speed governing systems, air-fuel ratio control systems for gas engines, dual fuel system solutions, generator management, digital and analog controls, extensive plant monitoring (digitization), and mechanical and hydraulic actuators.
The product portfolio is completed by engine emission management, safety systems for combustion engines, communication software and a variety of accessories. Our system solutions optimise the management of diesel, gas and dual fuel engines and gas, steam and hydro turbines. The portfolio also includes automation systems, especially for the marine industry.
HEINZMANN has the appropriate control and system solution for almost every application involving marine drives, locomotive control systems, construction and agricultural vehicles or power machines.
The current focus in new developments is on components and systems for the use of future CO2-neutral fuels in industrial combustion engines. The focus here is on hydrogen, methanol and ammonia. Solutions for dual fuel operation are being tested and will soon be available. Further increases in conversion rates and combustion optimization will further improve the eco-balance of engines and help reduce operating costs.
Our collaborative interaction with more than 40 globally active subsidiaries and sales companies characterizes the spirit within the HEINZMANN Group of Companies and makes us a reliable partner.

HEINZMANN PFI Methanol Injector
HEINZMANN‘s PFI Methanol Injector offers a flexible and attractive solution for new build as well as for retrofitting of existing engines, covering a cylinder power range from 200 kW up to 450 kW and fuel pressure range from 5 up to 25 bar.
HEINZMANN TRITON OMD II Oil Mist Detection 2nd Generation
The new generation of oil mist detection for internal combustion engines.TRITON OMD II has been specially designed to set new industry benchmark, not only in terms of operational performance and reliability, but also in terms of the capability to be seamlessly integrated into the customer‘s engine automation and safety systems.
HEINZMANN Actuator StC EC with Trottle Valve
The HEINZMANN Actuator StG EC Series of actuators represents HEINZMANN‘s new generation of redesigned positioners.
Their brushless electric drive system directly works on the shaft and already delivers considerable torque.
StG EC 100 is additionally equipped with a planetary gearbox to achieve even higher torques up to 100 Nm.
The new modular concept enables a high degree of flexibility when attaching add-on parts directly to the actuator such as throttle valves, linkages or similar.
StG EC series offers high performance combined with rapid response, irrespective of direction of rotation or shaft position. Thanks to the robust design, there are virtually no limits to the areas of application, such as industrial or marine purposes.
Electro-Hydraulic Governor DG 2800.14
The DG 2800.14 governor is a microprocessor controlled hydraulic governor and consists of the well-proven RE 2800 series actuator and the HEINZMANN digital DC 14 governor. The digital governor controls the proportional solenoid of the actuator by means of a current signal. The DG 2800.14 includes an integrated speed pick-up, however if required an external pick-up can be connected. The DC 14 digital governor provides state-of-the-art speed control (steady state speed wander < 0.1 % at nominal speed), start fuel limit and functionality typical for generator application, including isochronous load sharing (optional). Marine certification: DNV GL, ABS
HEINZMANN IFT Oil Mist Separators
The HEINZMANN IFT universal oil mist separators can be used over a wide engine power range, regardless of the specific engine model. By choosing from just 3 filter models, engine power ranges from approx. 500 to 3,500 kW can be covered.
By combining several models, the performance range can be extended considerably
This allows systems for large-scale applications to be implemented quickly and cost-effectively
Alternatively, our customers also have the option of receiving a customised solution at any time.
